Google Earth For Mac

Google released their application called Google Earth for the Mac OS X platform yesterday (Windows version has been available for some time now). I got right on that and downloaded it.

Wow. I am really impressed with a great many of the features available here. This is one of the coolest applications I have ever used that I don't really have a use for. Of course, I am sure I will find a use for it at some point.

Free is such a good price.

  2. The use you will likely find is to waste countless hours simply looking around and around and around. Once you realize this is all there is to it, you will continue to think it the most impressive computer application ever devised with virtually no purpose at all. When I saw the 3D building feature, I was amazed! It's one step closer to a virtual world on the computer! Incredible.

  3. Carlo, I have wanted to visit Italy for a very long time. You have inspired me to visit virtually today.

Phil, it took me about fifteen minutes to get over looking at Mt. St. Helens in 3D--then I had to go look at Everest for a while. I am showing my wife places around the city where I grew up with it, that is pretty useful.
